Event: Gmail Essential Level 1

Add to Calendar

This is a hands-on, three-hour workshop that will provide you with the basics to get up and running with Gmail. It is recommended that you take this workshop before migrating to Gmail so that you can anticipate what to expect. You will learn Gmail’s most important settings and how they function, all leading to you being able to use Gmail more efficiently. We will thoroughly cover the basics of composing, and replying to messages, as well as showing you how to manage your contacts and groups of contacts. We highlight features such as attaching files and viewing or downloading attachments. We will also look at different text options including spell-check, pasting content into an email without its formatting, as well as Undo and Redo. You will also learn how to organize e-mails using labels, and how to search your email. Please note that Google account creation is not part of the course.
NOTE: Bring a computer device to class.
