Event: Blackberry Basics

This course is designed to showcase common BlackBerry features and functions to the user. Topics covered in this course range from understanding the desktop and applications, different model types and common features, to working twith the address book, appointments, and using tasks. If time allows the instructor may cover topics like making notes and calculations, emailing on your BlackBerry, customizing your BlackBerry, and working with media files on your BlackBerry.

Please note: A BlackBerry device is NOT provided with this training workshop. Users are expected to bring their own phone or simply follow along on the projection screen.
Please note: As with many operating systems, BlackBerry has several versions. This workshop will cover the most recent versions.

Instructor: University of Alberta Technology Training Centre.

Registration Fee: $50 Includes handouts.
Bring own BlackBerry phone or follow along on the projection screen.
