Event: Excel Essentials
This course is designed for new users who are required to produce basic spreadsheets. Participants will learn how to create, save, open and close files, enter data, as well as edit using the insert, delete, move and copy functions. Relative and absolute addressing in formulas will also be
covered. On completion of this course participants will be familiar with formatting features such as row heights, column widths, alignment, merged cells and number styles. Participants will also work with margins, as well as headers and footers to enhance page layout in different views to prepare for printing. Version 2010 will be used.
Prerequisite: Basic computer concepts/skills and knowledge of Windows.
Instructor: University of Alberta Technology Training Centre.
