Event: Facebook & Twitter
Facebook is one of the most popular free social networking platforms. Offering a comprehensive set of tools to share photos and videos, send messages to friends and family, and keep up on the activities of all your contacts. Facebook is a modern method of community and interaction.
Twitter is a social media platform, offering a way for users to send a message of 140 characters (known as a tweet) to one or multiple users. Great for sharing quick thoughts, immediate news, or event information, Twitter offers fast interactions with your community.
Come learn how to: setup and use a Facebook and Twitter account; configure that account; what a hashtag, retweet, or wall post is; and much more.
Instructor: University of Alberta Technology Training Centre.
